PUTRAJAYA FLORIA

tomorow i'm going to PUTRAJAYA FLORIA, the Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival, will be organised once again in Putrajaya, to showcase the beautiful landscapes, gardens and parks in the Garden City of Putrajaya. The nine-day festival will take place from August 1st until 9th, 2009.

PUTRAJAYA FLORIA is an international event that is owned and jointly-hosted by the Ministry of Federal Territories and Perbadanan Putrajaya (Putrajaya Corporation). The event will showcase a spectacular display of flora creativity as well as local and international garden designs.

This year's theme ‘Celebration of Colours' is based on these reasons:

• To reflect the exciting and vibrant colours of flowers and plants.
• To celebrate the Malaysian lifestyles with multicultural background.
• To display the spectacular landscapes of Putrajaya for photo opportunities.
• To inculcate a respect for nature, love for colours, flowers, plants and Gardening among visitors
• To establish Putrajaya as one of the main venues for flower show in the region.

Covering an area of 15 acres, Putrajaya Floria 2009 will highlight the following flower and garden attractions;

• Garden Bazaar
• Floria Showcase Gardens
• School and University Show Gardens
• Special Orchid Highlight
• Hort Mart
• Corporate Garden
• Kiddy Garden
• Floral Pavilion

The theme flower for this year's event is orchid thus the above attractions will have the elements of orchids. Visitors may have the opportunity to view various orchids including the rare ones.

Beside visiting the flower and garden attractions, for the whole nine days, the organizers will line up various interesting activities and programmes ranging from talks, forum, competitions on flowers and gardens to Malaysian cultural and traditional performances.

Visitors will have no problem to find a place to eat as there will be some 30 food outlets offering all types of food at the site.

Putrajaya Floria 2009 is open to the public from 9 am - 10 pm on Monday through Thursday and 9 am - 12 midnight Friday through Sunday. At night all the attractions will be lit up with lights that give a spectacular view of the flowers and gardens which blend well with the lights from the buildings, structures and bridges of Putrajaya.

Visiting Siam Paragon

Siam Paragon is a business card of modern Bangkok. It’s one of the biggest shopping centers in Asia preparing to celebrate it’s 5th birthday in December. Paragon offers all kinds of international fashion brands, wide range of specialty stores and restaurants together with a multiplex movie theater (15 large screens; one of them has the biggest screen and seating capacity in Asia). If that’s not enough why not visit attractions like Siam Ocean World - the largest aquarium in South east Asia, an exhibition hall, the Thai Art Gallery and an opera concert hall?

Travel to Kuantan

Teluk Chempedak beach is approximately 5km away from the town of Kuantan. Go all the way to the end and reach Jalan Teluk Chempedak. We reach a dead end where a MacDonald Restaurant and Hyatt Regency Hotel are located. We park the car and walk towards the beach.

This is one of the main beach that locals go to during the weekends and after office hours to unwind and for a time of leisure with family members. This beach is an enclosed bay and is a good place for water sports activities such as swimming, jet-skiing, surfing or sun-bathe. Kite flying during the windy days is a definite thing to do for children of all ages. During the monsoon season from November to March, do be careful with the sea as the waves can be quite rough. Hence, it is not recommended to swim here during this time.

Purpose of traveling to Kuantan is just to accompany shah, he got task in somewhere in Pekan. Then i bought a new hill (shoe), white shoe with big diamond on top of it. Shah said, the shoe are cool and look nice on me. I bought it in Kuantan MegaMall.

We take a few shoot of our picture nearby at TC beach. The wind was was blowing and it sound very peaceful. we bought Sundae for each of us and lick it until it melted into our throat..Then i fell want to vomit, and my stomach wasn't fell right. I have vomited all the sundae which i have not finish it. After that we went homes because i start to fell dizzy.
While entering the highway, i fall asleep. when reached Temerloh, we switched driver because shah fell sleepy.

we reached home at 9.00 pm. get bath and take a nap because we having a long ride.

Tuk Tuk

Finally, what would Bangkok be without the much-loathed, much-loved, tuk-tuks? You'll know them when you hear them, and you'll hate them when you smell them - these three-wheeled contraptions blaze around Bangkok leaving a black cloud of smog in their wake. For anything more than a 5-10 minute jaunt or just the experience, they really are not worth the price - and, if you let them get away with it, the price will usually be 4 or 5 times what it should be anyway (which, for Thais, is around 30% less than the equivalent metered taxi fare). On the other hand, you can sometimes ride for free if you agree to visit touristy clothing or jewelry shops (which give the tuk-tuk driver gas coupons and commissions for bringing customers). The shops' salesmen are pushy, but you are free to leave after five to ten minutes of browsing.

My Journey to Bangkok was the most memorable & hardly can't forget...Visitors should beware though, sometimes one stop can turn in to three, and your tuk-tuk driver may not be interested in taking you where you need to go once he has his gas coupons. Also, with Bangkok's densly congested traffic it is sure to spend hours of your time. In case you actually want to get somewhere, and you're an all-male party, be careful with the tuk-tuk drivers, they will usually just ignore your destination and start driving you to some bordello ("beautiful girls"). Insist continually and forcefully on going only to your destination.

There's also a less-heralded, less-colourful and less-touristy version of the tuk-tuk that usually serves the back sois in residential neighborhoods. They usually have four wheels instead of three and resemble a tiny truck / ute / lorry, and they run on petrol instead of LP. The maids and locals tend to use them to return home from market with loads of groceries, or for quick trips if they're available. Negotiate before you get in, but don't expect to go much beyond the edge of that particular neighborhood.
